KENT. CP6 clothes brush is a top-quality clothes brush developed especially for the care of wool and knitwear items, suitable for the care of all North Outdoor merino wool products. Brushing removes lint and cleans loose dirt, dust and hairs off the knit. Regular brushing removes loose fibres off the surfaces of the knitted garment, preventing pilling. The knitted garments of the Finland | nature collection in particular benefit from the use of a clothes brush. KENT. CP6 clothes brush has been developed above all for the care of wool; nevertheless, you can use it in a versatile manner for all other materials, too. With a long life-span, a clothes brush is a durable alternative for a sticky clothes roller lint remover.
How to use a clothes brush
You can use a clothes brush for a quick tiding when you have put the garment on. Pull the garment gently from hem lengthwise, when brushing, to make the brush slide better on the surface of the garment. You may add to the cleansing effect of brushing by spraying water gently on the garment before brushing. Dark-coloured garments in particular benefit from spraying water.
Each merino wool garment requires periodically also a thorough maintenance. Spread the garment on a smooth surface for the duration of the maintenance. You may slip a pillow inside of a sweater or shirt, to make the care easier. A smooth surface helps to hold the garment in place. Hold the garment in place with one hand, and brush it vertically with the other hand. If the surface of the garment is really shabby, you should perform the brushing in two directions: both downwards and upwards. In the end, spray some water on the garment with a spray can and brush it once through.
